More pics

Bret finished the garage project.
See, it's clean and organized.

Mom and Cody returning from one of our many fishing adventures
Cody thinks Mom needs to change her lure.

Braden is pretty sure they will just hop into his net.

We've been fishing I don't know how many times - Bret is always catching at least one and I'm always skunked. If I wasn't so determined I'd just quit. I haven't caught a single fish this year. I've lost track of how many Bret has caught. Even Morgan has caught fish! Whatever, it's still fun.

Oh gosh the garage is funny!!!! He finished it this last weekend. It's so clean out there. Bret even made a table for the kids and their outdoor stuff. I've lost all claim to any open flat space out there. Bret's letting me borrow a small 6" x 6" corner of the work bench as long as I don't leave anything on it overnight. I tried to put my keys, wallet and cell phone on the kid's table and Morgan moved them. It's just because it's all new and freshly cleaned. All bets are off by next weekend I'm sure.

Cody turned 1 and other stuff

"I missed!"

Braden is picking which frog to victimize.

Morgan is trying to save them all.

Yay - Grandma and Grandpa are here!

"I am so cute!"

Grandma and Morgan looking good!

Braden at the river down the block.

Morgan at the river

Somebody splashed me

Cody's tired already - but being a trooper for presents.

"What is this!?"
Dirt cake making.

"MMMM, sticks are good!"

Braden hiding under the tree
Every once in a while we had to coral him so he wouldn't fill up on twigs and dirt.

Pretty view

Novice geocachers

Cool box of stuff we found in the woods

Pulling up the treasure

See it was buried

Morgan is still saving the frogs

AW - they're so cute!
I have the day off work today and it's raining so I thought I'd take advantage and do some blogging...
We've had a birthday and Morgan's last day of school (she's going into 3rd grade - YIKES). The boys are starting to wrestle. I see now why Cody had to put on so much weight. He's trying to catch up with Braden so he doesn't get pummeled. We also went camping and found a little pond where the frogs were laying their eggs. It was really cool - hopefully we didn't disturb nature too much. We also did a little "geocaching" while we were out in the woods - THAT WAS WAY FUN! I'm going to need a GPS device for Christmas. I pulled the coordinates and the clues from my computer before we went and we borrowed used Brian and Melissa's GPS locators to find it. I thought we might have a chance at locating the cache without one since this was our first attempt but after we found it I realize it would have been absolutely impossible without a GPS. Morgan loved it! Grandma and Grandpa also came to visit. Can't wait until their next trip!!!!!!
I have more pics to load later today but I think Bret stole the camera for work.

They just keep getting older...

Cody is pulling up on everything and going up the three stairs from our family room to our kitchen (yikes). Here's some video of him very proud of himself. Our camera has been full for a long time, Char has been dropping all kinds of hints and messages for us to clear it off so she can take the precious pictures - we're so lucky! AND Braden went potty in the potty chair - sorry, no pics or video of that though, it just wouldn't be right without smellevision. The "Your Baby Can Read" stuff that Mom and Pat got us is working on Braden. He can read car, boy and moon so far, everything else is, "duck, quack, quack," until he sees the picture of the word. Morgan is, as always, doing really well in school. She has all of her weekly spelling words memorized by Monday night and is working on her multiplication tables. This just blows my mind, I remember memorizing my multiplication tables, it's just crazy. The big news as of late is that we bought a minivan - Toyota Sienna. I admit it, I begged for it. I was sold when we went to Idaho and Jill and Rhett had one for a rental. When I tried for the last time to shut the door of my Subaru with all three of our kids inside and it bounced back at me I headed straight for the dealer... after taking Morgan to her friend's birthday party of course, I was desperate, not suicidal. Anyway, now I can go to the grocery store and have enough room for the passengers and the groceries. Life is good!

It's been awhile - lots of pics and video

I have some Christmas pics, maybe a few day after Christmas, a couple videos that Char took and at last OUR BIG TRIP TO THE FARM! We went to visit Bret's sister and family (Jill, Rhett, Tobias, Eli, Curtis and Tatiana) at Rhett's mom and Clark's house in Nezperce, Idaho. SUPER FUN - SUPER LOUD (7 kids all running around in one house)!! We all had a great time. The kids went sledding and played games. Morgan got to help Rhett's mom feed the chickens and took home the egg she collected. Bret and Clark took the kids to explore the farm buildings and to check out the barn. Tatiana is their youngest, just turned a year old and it was nice to see another little one as clingy to mom as Braden is. :) I got to hold her a couple times while Jill was getting food together.
